Sod & mulch installation across Hillsborough County
We are based in Tampa and work a deliberately tight radius. Sod is a perishable product: cut at the farm, trucked in, and it needs to be on the ground and watered the same day, especially from April through September. Staying inside Hillsborough County is what lets us schedule sod to arrive for your install day instead of sitting on a hot driveway.
It also means we know the ground. Bayfront South Tampa and Apollo Beach deal with salt spray, wind and a high water table. Older neighborhoods like Hyde Park, Seminole Heights and Temple Terrace sit under heavy live oak canopy where Floratam struggles. Newer communities in Riverview and New Tampa often have thin builder sod on compacted fill and an HOA that has opinions about grass and mulch color.

Our home base. Tampa itself runs from bayfront fill to inland sand ridges. We also cover South Tampa, Hyde Park, Seminole Heights and Westchase.
North Tampa
Carrollwood, New Tampa, Lutz, Town ’n’ Country and Temple Terrace — from 1960s block homes near the airport to lake lots and acreage up toward the Pasco line, where Bahia often makes more sense than St. Augustine on the back forty.
East & South Hillsborough
Brandon, Riverview, Valrico and Apollo Beach — the fastest-growing part of the county, with lots of first-time homeowners replacing builder sod that never rooted properly.

No. Every community on the list is on our normal route, so the price you are quoted is the price you pay whether you are in Hyde Park or Valrico.
Estimates usually happen within 24 to 48 hours anywhere in the service area. Most residential installs are scheduled within the same or following week.
No. Price is driven by square footage, grass or mulch type, prep and access — not ZIP code. A tight Hyde Park side yard where everything is hand-carried costs more to install than an open Riverview front yard, but that is access, not location.
Yes. South Tampa and Davis Islands sit on dredged and shell fill with a high water table; most of the county is fast-draining sand; some inland pockets hold more organic matter or a little clay. Shade from old live oaks matters as much as soil in the older neighborhoods.
Yes — Westchase, New Tampa, Riverview, Apollo Beach and others. We can provide a written scope with grass variety and mulch type for your architectural review application, plus insurance documents for the association.
The basic Southwest Florida Water Management District framework applies across the county, but your utility — City of Tampa, Hillsborough County or Temple Terrace — sets the specific days. New sod typically gets an establishment period; confirm the current rule with your utility before install.
Yes. Let us know the gate procedure when you book so the sod truck and crew are on the list for install day.
Yes. We plan around the forecast everywhere we work. A heavy storm the afternoon of install is not a problem for sod, but a tropical system can mean moving a mulch job a few days so it does not wash or float away.
We can give you a range from photos, which is often enough to decide whether to proceed. The written flat price requires an on-site visit.
