What to have ready
None of this is required, but it speeds things up. Roughly how many square feet of lawn or how many beds. Whether the existing grass is dead, thin or just tired. Whether you have a preference — Floratam, Zoysia, Bahia, pine bark, pine straw. Whether the yard holds water after storms. And if you are in an HOA, whether the architectural committee needs to approve the grass type or mulch color first.
What happens after you contact us
We call back to confirm details and book an estimate window, usually within 24 to 48 hours. On site we measure, check grade, shade and sprinkler coverage, and recommend a grass type or mulch that fits. You get a written flat price before we leave. If you approve it, most residential jobs are scheduled the same or following week.

Yes, with no deposit and no obligation. We measure the yard, check grade, shade and sprinklers, and hand you a written flat price. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.
We can give you a useful range from photos, and for a small patch or a couple of beds that is often enough. A firm written price needs a visit, because square footage, grade and sprinkler coverage are the biggest cost drivers and photos hide all three.
Yes. The quote form has an optional photo upload — a wide shot of the yard or bed is the most helpful. You can also text photos to (813) 733-7188.
Our hours are Mon–Sat 7:00am–7:00pm. Outside those hours, leave a voicemail, send a text or use the form and we will pick it up first thing the next working day.
Most residential sod and mulch jobs are scheduled within the same or following week. Spring is the busiest season, so booking early helps. Large HOA or commercial projects are scheduled around access and board approvals.
If you live in a community with architectural review, often yes — many require approval for changing grass type or mulch color. We can give you a written scope with the grass variety and mulch type to submit with your application.
On completion, after you have walked the finished yard with us. Card, check and bank transfer are accepted. Delivery-only orders are paid when the order is placed.
Yes. Certificate of insurance and W-9 on request, and we send them proactively for HOA and property-management work. Email info@tampasodandmulch.com with your association name.
Call and ask. For larger jobs we often make the drive just outside our fourteen communities. For a small yard far outside the area, we will tell you honestly that someone closer is the better call.
